Central Taxis offers a FREE "RINGBACK" service for your safety and convenience.

Our RINGBACK service will call your mobile phone or your house phone twice to let you know that your taxi is about to arrive.

The free RINGBACK service is available to all our customers, old and new, and is designed to make travelling safer and more efficient, especially for women travelling on their own or waiting for taxis outside clubs or pubs.


HOW RINGBACK WORKS:

To use Ringback on your Mobile phone:
1) Add the phone number 01902 423300 into your contacts / address book;
2) Save this new entry as the name "Taxi Outside".

Then book your taxi in the usual way using any of our taxi numbers e.g. 01902 575757 or 01902 423456 ensuring that you ask our operator to put your booking on "RINGBACK".

When your taxi arrives, your phone will ring twice displaying "Taxi Outside".  Please now go to the pre-arranged meeting point.


Telephone

Home Telephone Users

To use Ringback from your home phone, simply ask our operator to put your booking on "RINGBACK".

When your taxi arrives, your house phone will ring twice to let you know the taxi is outside, ready for you.

Important Note: Please do not use the 423300 ringback number to phone for a taxi. (This line is connected to a computer and does not ring a telephone)


For Your Safety

In all cases, for complete privacy and security, your phone number is not displayed inside our cars and is only used by our base staff to alert you when your taxi is ready.
